The leak locating solution is embedded into Elsa’s system, the Digi-Flex Series and Standard Series.
The detection panels and sensor modules are programmed to detect and pinpoint leak locations at a precision of +/- 1m. The detection panels are designed to be connected to supervising displays where the data is visualised via a customized virtual map for users to identify the leak location.
Low voltage electrical signals, along with multiple sensors are running along the cable to transmit data. When liquid is in contact with the wire, data is transmitted to the sensor module and/or detection panel.
A special elastomer jacket, fitted together with multiple sensors are running along the cable to transmit data. When the cable is in contact with hydrocarbon, a physical reaction occurrence will transmit the data to the sensor module.
